Chinese customers surpassed Russians to become the luxury purchasing champions in France last year, with a total volume 158 million euro ($219 million), lagging Russia by 47 million euro ($65.4 million), CCTV.com reported.

Each Chinese customer spent 1,071 euro ($1,491) in France last year, primarily buying brand perfume, cosmetics and clothes, the report said. （China Daily)
